This is an answer phone, please leave a message and someone will return your call. The Macmillan cancer support line is also available 08:00-20:00 7 days a week, please phone 0808 8080000. We regularly hold information sessions for newly diagnosed patients under the care of Royal Cornwall Hospital which are run by video link. Please get in touch if you would like to join. The Caf? is open daily 09:30-16:00. We know that a cancer diagnosis affects all areas of your life, so we?re here to help you find information and support when you need it. From information about specific types of cancer, treatments and how best to live with it, to support with finances and benefits, diet, exercise, the way you look and even if you just need someone to talk things through with. We can help give you back some feeling of control and help you feel more confident about the future. We offer comfy spaces where you can take time out, a friendly cafe, and private rooms for if you prefer somewhere quiet. We also host regular support groups and events throughout the year. There?s a warm welcome and support waiting for you including: Information leaflets; Advice and support; Caf? with indoor and outdoor seating; Relaxed lounge area; Specific room and facilities for teenagers and young adults (16-24 yrs); Benefits advice; Dietetic advice; Information about support groups. The following services require a professional referral, pre-booked appointment or are ad-hoc: Health & Well Being Events (ad-hoc); Health (pre book); Wig service (professional referral); Patient self-management courses (professional referral); Emotional support service (professional referral); Psychological service (professional referral).
